“Do School Differently” is the motto of our international school in Pinneberg. At the beginning of September 2016, the school operations of our WABE International School for the Hamburg metropolitan region started. Our international school is a state-approved alternative school and is located in Schleswig-Holstein. It is a recognized IB World School and offers space for up to 300 students in the current expansion phase.

About us: WABE International School

WABE International School offers an innovative concept from grade 1 to 12 with the International Baccalaureate (IB) as a qualification. The main language of instruction is English. The school has a German program to ensure that students learn at a native speaker level. The first IB graduating class was bid farewell at the end of May 2021.

Research-based and experience-based learning are essential elements of the educational program and are meaningfully integrated into the curriculum.

The target group of the school are both international and German families from the metropolitan region of Hamburg, whose children want to learn according to an international school concept.

The school is characterized by a cosmopolitan atmosphere. International and local schoolchildren find an intensive exchange and a learning-conducive togetherness through a pronounced welcoming culture.

The WABE International School complements and enriches the existing school landscape in the district of Pinneberg through its international orientation.
