Job Description: Management / Coordination

Our 26 WABE daycare centers, two parent-child centers and four school partnerships are as diverse as the people who design them. From the small house with a few dozen children and a small family team to the large house with 200 children, many colleagues, attached production kitchen and EKiZ. From a spacious location in the countryside to a residential area or a central city location. From the deputy management position with educational and administrative tasks to the 100% management position.

This is how our management / coordinators work

As different as our facilities are, they are all connected by our educational concept: the open educational approach to mindfulness. Within this framework, the managers, deputy managers and coordinators have a lot of freedom of action and design to organize “their” daycare center.

We leave a high degree of responsibility to management. Because we trust them. That is why our day-care center managers act largely autonomously. They implement the pedagogical concept adapted to the respective environment. You decide on the composition of the daycare team. They are responsible for the personal and professional management of their employees. They are involved in setting up and equipping the premises. They take care of the organizational and administrative tasks for their facility and act as contact persons for parents, service companies, (cooperation) partners and authorities.

The deputy directors and coordinators support the directors. They form an interface between the day-care center management and the team in the crèche or elementary area.

cooperation with the carrier

The management teams receive support in their organizational tasks from the employees of the office. The departments of education, human resources, accounting, parental contributions, IT, real estate & construction and public relations are integrated here. They are in particularly close contact with the respective pedagogical specialist advice. They are always available to advise you if you have any questions or problems. An important element of the cooperation is also the networking of the managers with each other. Personal contact between the management, the specialist consultants and the management is promoted through regular joint meetings.

Further training depending on the individual development needs as well as coaching and supervision are supported and encouraged by WABE.
